This place has been on my to try list for a while. I’ve spent extensive time in Italy and I love making pasta dishes at home. That said, I’ve struggled to find a great Italian place in the area. Finally, the stars aligned and I was able to come here. Firstly, let’s talk about the negative. I have 2 points here. #1 being my first visit, I got Bolognese. It’s a dish I’m beyond familiar with. It’s definitely not traditional and something more along the lines of a vodka creamy sauce. You can taste the cream but you still get hints of alcohol (maybe wine). #2 even though it wasn’t traditional, I wish I had more. The flavors were amazing and you could taste the fresh ingredients including pasta. Let’s talk positive. I could go on forever here. The atmosphere was very homely and felt even more like that after the sun set. The staff are super friendly. After being served, I was able to enjoy my food for a bit before being approached to check in on me. Menu has a nice selection but not pages long so you know they focus on quality of output from the kitchen. Lastly, their portion sizes seem to be spot on. I felt full/content but not stuffed. I look forward to many more meals here and recommend anyone to try this place. Also, the dipping oil is delectable to the point I could swim in it.

The best Italian restaurant in Seattle!!! I really love their Pizza Margherita, it’s really authentic and very yummy. Simple but classic, it reminds me of the pizza I had in Naples. Ravioli Del Giorno is good too, it’s stuffed goat and ricotta cheese. Not greasy. For the starter, I will recommend Bruschetta di pomodoro. It’s very fresh! Calamari is okay For the dessert, we ordered cannoli and tiramisu. Recommend tiramisu! Although it looks hmmm, it’s really delicious. I feel Cannoli is fine. The cream is not too oily and greasy, and not too sweet. But I like Tiramisu more :D

Wonderful from the time you arrive you are greeted warmly. Assisted with helping seat my elderly parents. Service was great very attentive, provided recommendations. The food is fabulous from appetizers to my main course gnocchi which was absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere highly recommend.

Came back here again for the second time and the food was just as great as the first time! I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming Italian restaurant and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The staff was attentive, the food was reasonably priced. The ambiance was simply enchanting – dim lighting, rustic decor, relaxing music, and the outdoor seating area was so pretty, the fire pit was a plus for chill nights! Everything was All soo very inviting! All in all, this Italian restaurant is a gem. Whether you're looking for a romantic date night or a delightful meal with friends, the ambiance, food, and service combine to create an unforgettable dining adventure. I can't wait to return and savor those flavors once again!

Italian Excellence with Big Charm Ristorante Picolinos is an absolute standout in the Seattle dining scene. From the moment you arrive, you're enveloped in an atmosphere that feels both elegant and effortlessly welcoming. The sprawling space is beautifully designed, with cozy corners and vibrant energy—and when there’s live music playing, it becomes truly magical. The food? *Bellissimo.* Every dish we tried was a celebration of classic Italian flavors, executed with fresh, high-quality ingredients. From the silky pastas to the perfectly cooked proteins and seasonal specials, you can taste the passion behind every plate. It's a fantastic spot for a romantic night out, a lively gathering, or even a solo dinner with a side of ambiance. There’s room for everyone, and yet it never loses that intimate feel—Picolinos strikes that rare, delicious balance of warmth, flavor, and style. ---

This place does it up right. You don't get a lot of 5 stars out of me. They had a good menu, good food (and I'm Italian with immigrant family members), super nice host (she helped me find parking for a RV when we called in for a reservation), nice server, a decent wine selection the by the glass selection was a little limited), and after circling back with us and discussing our travel plans, the host gave us croissants to take home, hoping we would come back in the morning to experience the bakery (sadly we couldn't return). I would like to return if I'm ever in town. The atmosphere was really nice.. dimly lit, romantic (if you are so inclined). I remember there was another Italian elderly man (he had the familiar accent) there who was kind of staring at my plate. When I turned toward him he was curious about my dish (cioppino) and said it looked good. I'm telling you, if you make time for this place and are friendly, they will reward you back. The price was a little over 100 for three people and we had a glass of wine, and dessert. It's not that expensive (comparatively). Great place.

We came here for our anniversary this year and were so impressed. We made reservations ahead of time online. The restaurant itself was so pretty. We really enjoyed the live music (it was not loud, and felt perfect over dinner). Service was great. We started with brussel sprouts and they brought bread to the table. Both were great starters. But the main courses stole the show especially the special for the evening, lobster ravioli. Just perfect really. The other main was the rigatoni salsiccia, also delicious. The dessert selection was great with the tiramisu being very impressive. Really great texture and balance.

The best Italian food in Seattle. So happy to have found this place. Easy to make reservations, and they take walk ins but I’d call ahead to ask about any potential wait. The entire experience here is A. There was a live singer the night we dined. The bread basket and olive oil were amazing. The appetizer and main dishes were amazing. Everything was delicious and we’ll definitely be coming back.
